We will leave from your accommodation from very early to start a trip of 5 hours, which will take us from Puerto Natales to the Perito Moreno glacier, in Argentina. Two arrests will be made. The 1st, at the border crossing Don Guillermo, where we will carry out customs and migration procedures. The 2nd, in the Bus Terminal of El Calafate, where a guide will join the group, who will accompany us to our visit to LOS GLACIARES NATIONAL PARK, a protected wild area where the glacier is located.

We will walk for 2 hours more than 3 km of walkways in front of the PERITO MORENO GLACIER.We will meet several viewpoints, from where we can have views from different angles of the ice mass, being able to appreciate icefalls of more than 70 m. You can also walk the catwalks for 1 hour and take the navigation in front of the glacier for 1 hour, which will be possible if there is a confirmed departure and with availability when visiting the place.

Perito Moreno Glacier

Operates: The Perito Moreno Glacier is a thick mass of ice located in the Lago Argentino department of the province of Santa Cruz, in the southwest of Argentina, in the Patagonia region. It is integrated into the Los Glaciares National Park. This glacier originates in the Southern Patagonian ice field. In its descent, it reaches the South arm of Lake Argentino, with a front of 5 km in length, emerging on the water with a height of about 60 m. Thanks to its constant advance, it forms a dam with the waters of the Rico arm of said lake, which generates a slope with respect to the rest of the lake of up to 30 m. Because of the pressure of this liquid mass, ice leaks create a tunnel with a vault over 50 m high. The collapse of this vault constitutes an unusual natural spectacle and is one of the biggest attractions of the park.
