On route stop at Tamchoe Lhakhang (Drupthop Thong Thong Thong Gyelpo) in early 15th century, known as iron bridge builder, check in hotel after lunch light sightseeing around Thimphu.

Day 2: Punakha, on route stop at Dochula Pass (3100m), explore 108 stupas and Chimmi Lhakhang.

Stop At: Dochula Pass, Thimphu Bhutan
Drive to Punakha on route stop at Dochula Pass. explore 108 Stupas and drive down the Punakha valley. Visit Chimmi Lhakhang (Devine Madman temple) built in early 15th century by lama Drukpa Kuenley.
