A different experience for jungle lovers. During this 3 day tour you will have a wonderful time in the jungle, as well during this voyage you will have a visit to one of the 36 native nations of Bolivia the Maropa-Cavineño. In adittion you will enjoy a pristine and natural well-protected destination due to our policies of conservation and responslible tourism. We do not allow close contact with species and all our efforts are for the protection and conservation of the environment.

Itinerary

Day 1: Rurrenabaque - Pampas del Yacuma

Stop At: River Yacuma, Rurrenabaque Bolivia
The journey begins at 8.30 am from Rurrenabaque, with
comfortable cars in a 3-hour ride to Santa Rosa. On the way,
you will be able to see many species of birds, capybaras and
even sloths. Arrival at Santa Rosa's port and after lunch, we
will travel by river to the Refugio. We will appreciate the
typical "sabana" landscape from Beni and other animals like
monkeys, turtles, caimans, capybaras and many more!
Plenty of chances to take beautiful pictures.
Arrival at the lodge, enjoy a nice welcome drink and get
comfortable in your tree tent.

Day 2: Pampas del Yacuma

Stop At: River Yacuma, Rurrenabaque Bolivia
The day begins early since we are travelling by boat to see the
sunrise from the Yacuma River. After breakfast we will do a
short excursion through small woods and lagoons. With a little
luck we might even see the "anaconda"! Return to the
lodge. After lunch we hop on again on our boats and sail on
the river looking after the famous "bufeo" or pink dolphin.
If you feel like, you can even swim with them. After dinner, a
short "night trip" awaits for us.
We will look for nocturnal animals and of course for the
shining eyes of the caimans, a very exciting experience.

Day 3: Pampas del Yacuma - Community of Awaisal - Rurrenabaque

Stop At: River Yacuma, Rurrenabaque Bolivia
After an early breakfast (5.30am) we will depart from
the lodge with the boat until Santa Rosa. From here, we will
take the car for 1-hour until we arrive the indigenous
community of Awaisal. During this journey, we will be able to
see many animals, including the rare black beard macaw. Once
in the community, we will look also for the "lucachi" monkey,
endemic from the "pampas". We will have time to share with
the locals and learn more about their history, way of leaving,
their handicrafts and much more! In the afternoon, after
lunch, transfer back to Rurrenabaque by car. Arrival
around 5pm.
