Itinerary

Day 1: La Paz - Santiago de Okola

Stop At: Carabuco, Bolivia
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel and go on a taxi to the bus terminal in El Alto city to take the public bus to Carabuco. We will stop on the middle of the highway to continue walking into the community. After enjoying an apthapi lunch, we will have a trek to the Sleeping Dragon, a famous mountain representative of the community. Once on the summit, we will enjoy the amazing landscape of Lake Titicaca and finally, we will return to our homestay for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Santiago de Okola

Stop At: Carabuco, Bolivia
After breakfast, we will have our Cooking class, where our host will show us the traditional meals in the village, with the main products they use for consumption. Lunch and later go on trekking to the Turtle Island and enjoy the peace and amazing view of this part of the Lake Titicaca. We will return to our homestay at the end of the afternoon to have dinner and enjoy a bonfire to share with our hosts.

Day 3: Santiago de Okola - La Paz

Stop At: Carabuco, Bolivia
After breakfast, we will be part of the textile workshop, here we will learn the traditional weaving in the Andes. Finally, we return to our homestay for lunch and prepare for a short walk to the highway and wait for the public bus to La Paz, once we arrived in El Alto we take the taxi back to your hotel.
