The Tree of Preguiça has become one of Jericoacoara's most popular tourist spots. It's one of the village postcards.

It is a native tree of the region, isolated among the sands of the National Park of Jericocoara, a few meters from the sea.

Because of strong sea winds, it grew curved, as if lying down, hence the origin of the name of the Tree of Sloth.

Stop At: Pedra Furada, Jericoacoara, Jijoca de Jericoacoara, State of Ceara Brazil

The ride to Pedra Furada includes incredible stops. You can dive in Malhada Beach, a little forgotten corner of Jericoacoara, but incredible natural beauty. From the village to the Stone there are some native houses where it is possible to stop and register everything. Most still live very simply and rustically here.

The late afternoon is classic in Jeri, taking tourists and natives to the top of the dune of Pôr do Sol, in the left corner of Jericoacoara beach. At five o'clock the movement is intense, since at about half past five the sun sinks into the sea. Throughout the show, the 30-meter dune gradually changes colors, ranging from yellow to pink.

Located on Lagoa do Paraíso lagoon, Alchymist is the most popular restaurant and club in the Jericoacoara region. The space has a mega structure at the water's edge and is ideal for those who want to spend a quiet day. The place has dozens of tables and chairs scattered across the sand that surrounds the lagoon, cabinets, sun shades, shower, bathroom etc - complete structure to spend the day.

The Alchymist Beach Club's menu has many types of snacks and main courses, as well as drinks and other beverages. The service is nice and although the prices are not cheap, it is a very comfortable place to spend the day.

On the water there is a standby guard and several hammocks installed for the tourists to relax! A delight!
