In this itinerary we will walk through the points that comprise the Historical and Archaeological Circuit of the Celebration of African Heritage. We will know the places for understanding the African Diaspora process. Passing through the wonderful Mauá Square, totally renovated. It follows Pedra Do Sal, a former square where black slaves were sold, today the place of Rio de Janeiro's black culture with a famous samba circle. Follows Morro da Conceição, a region of significant historical and architectural importance. The Conceição Hill formed, together with the Castelo, Santo Antônio and São Bento hills, a quadrangle where the city grew for three centuries, from its foundation in 1565. The Cais do Valongo received the title of Historical Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO for being the only material trace of the arrival of enslaved Africans in the Americas. The tour on Boulevard Olimpico will conclude with an open-air exhibition of the works of the best graffiti artists in Brazil.

Morro da Conceição is located in the neighborhood of Health, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is a region of significant historical and architectural importance.

Marking the initial occupation of the city of Rio de Janeiro by the Portuguese, the Morro da Conceição formed, along with the hills of the Castle, Santo Antônio and São Bento, a quadrilateral where the city grew for three centuries, from its foundation in 1565.

Pedra do Sal is a historical and religious monument located in the neighborhood of Saúde, near Largo da Prainha, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is where the Remaining Community of Quilombos of Pedra do Sal is located. It was registered on November 20, 1984 by the State Institute of Cultural Heritage.

Stop At: Cais do Valongo, Avenida Barao de Tefe Saude, Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro 20220-460 Brazil

Cais do Valongo is an old dock located in the port area of Rio de Janeiro, between the current Coelho and Castro and Sacadura Cabral streets. It was awarded the title of World Heritage by UNESCO on July 9, 2017 because it is the only material vestige of the arrival of Africans enslaved in the Americas.

 Mural Etnias, baptized as Todos somos um, is a panel located in the neighborhood of Gamboa, in the Central Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro. With 15 meters of height and 170 meters of length, was painted by the artist Eduardo Kobra in the facade of an old warehouse by virtue of the Olympic Games of Summer of 2016.
