Acqua Mundo, Guarujá aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in Brazil. The aquarium is located on Enseada Beach, in Guarujá, Litoral de São Paulo. It offers visitors 49 freshwater, saltwater, aquatic and terrarium enclosures with representations of various marine and terrestrial habitats. Highlight for the penguins, sea lion, sharks, alligators and fish of the Amazon.

With 1,446,560 liters of water and totaling an area of 5,775 m², Acqua Mundo is a true entertainment complex with snack bar, ice cream shop, themed store and kids space. The biggest attraction is the Ocean, a tank with 800,000 liters of salt water, built especially for the exhibition of large shoals and open sea fish such as ocean sharks. Among invertebrates, freshwater and saltwater fish, birds and mammals in total are 170 species of animals on display. For the animals to behave naturally, each enclosure is a replica of the natural habitat of the animals - so we have the mangrove, rocky shore, coral reef, flooded Amazonian forest, mato-grossense marshland, sandy beach, Contact Tank, where the visitor can touch hedgehogs, starfish and rays.
