FULL CIRCUIT PATAGONIA
Spend a full week backpacking in Patagonia and complete the “O” Trek circling Torres del Paine National Park in Southern Chile.

Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVE IN PUERTO NATALES

Stop At: Puerto Natales, Puerto Natales, Magallanes Region
Arrive at the Puerto Natales bus station by 6pm where you will be greeted by your OneSeed guide and taken to our partner lodge. Review the welcome packet and complete a gear check. The rest of your evening is yours to explore Puerto Natales.

Day 2: PUERTO NATALES TO REFUGIO DICKSON

Stop At: Torres Del Paine National Park, Torres del Paine National Park Chile
After an early breakfast, board the bus and head 2 hours to Torres del Paine National Park. Today is a long but relatively flat hike. Trek alongside the Paine River and Lake. Enjoy stunning views of Paine Massif, Indian Head, and Dickson. After a long day, enjoy a delicious meal at Refugio Dickson where you will be staying for the night.

Total Hiking: approximately 19 miles (30.5 km) / 10 hours of trekking

Day 3: REFUGIO DICKSON TO PERROS CAMPSITE

Stop At: Torres del Paine National Park, Torres del Paine National Park, Magallanes Region
Continue the hike westward in the direction of the Patagonia Ice Cap. Catch views of Perros Glacier before reaching the Perros campsite for the evening. Take an optional afternoon hike to Puma Glacier or spend some time to resting at the campsite.

Total Hiking: approximately 7.5 miles (12 km) / 4.5 hours of trekking

Day 4: PERROS CAMPSITE TO REFUGIO GREY

Stop At: Torres Del Paine National Park, Torres del Paine National Park Chile
The morning begins with a push up to John Garner Pass, but the hike is well worth the views from the top. Catch your first glimpse of Grey Glacier, which extends around 100 square miles! Follow the glacier down to Refugio Grey where a hot shower will be waiting for you. Enjoy a warm meal and a glass of wine with your fellow travelers.

Total Hiking: approximately 10 miles (16 km) / 11 hours of trekking

Day 5: REFUGIO GREY TO REFUGIO PAINE GRANDE

Stop At: Torres Del Paine National Park, Torres del Paine National Park Chile
A 4­-hour hike leads you to Refugio Paine Grande in the morning. Enjoy views of the aqua­ colored lake and take the afternoon to explore the area or rest your legs.

Peak Altitude: 1,575 ft (480m)

Total Hiking: approximately 7 miles (11.2 km) / 4-5 hours of trekking

Day 6: REFUGIO PAINE GRANDE TO REFUGIO LOS CUERNOS

Stop At: Torres Del Paine National Park, Torres del Paine National Park Chile
Head out from Paine Grande and through Torres’ old­ growth forest. Once your arrive at the Italian Camp, drop your full backpacks and repack your food, water and windbreaker into your daypack for the hike into the French Valley. See an impressive viewpoint of the French Valley and Cerro Hoja and Cerro Máscara, two of the famous horned peaks. If you’re feeling up to it, hike an additional 8 miles from the French Glacier round-trip further into the French Valley for stunning 360 views of the park. Return the way you came and spend the night at Refugio Los Cuernos.

Peak Altitude: 2,495 ft (760m)

Total Hiking: approximately 9 miles (14.5 km) / 7-8 hours trekking OR 17 miles (27km) / 12 hours of trekking

Day 7: REFUGIO LOS CUERNOS TO REFUGIO LAS TORRES

Stop At: Torres Del Paine National Park, Torres del Paine National Park Chile
Spend a majority of this part of the trek nestled on a trail between Lake Nordenskjold and Mount Almirante Nieto of the Paine Massif.

Peak Altitude: 1,017 ft (310m)

Total Hiking: approximately 7 miles (11.2 km) / 7-8 hours trekking

Duration: 1 day

Day 8: REFUGIO LAS TORRES TO PUERTO NATALES

Stop At: Puerto Natales, Puerto Natales, Magallanes Region
Get an early start today. Start the trek with day packs as you ascend through a rocky terrain cut by pristine glacial rivers. Gain two thousand feet in elevation as you climb through a beautiful lenga forest until reaching the base of the towers. Another shorter climb will put you meters from the towers and the emerald lake that sits at their base. Return to Refugio Las Torres, pick up your packs, and board the bus back to Puerto Natales. Celebrate the successful completion of the Torres del Paine ‘Full Circuit’ at dinner with your guide.
