Experience feeling like an architect photographing or sketching Valparaiso through a new point of view. More than a tour, a real life experience !

I discovered Valparaiso in my studies of Architecture in a different way than a normal tourist . Architecture observation is about discovering the city, about observing the light hitting the buildings how corners close and open creating spaces where people live and experience.

When we sketch and photograph with the eye of an architect ,we observe and discover a truth in the space of the city, this is what we want to share with you in the corners of Valparaiso, a fascinating place for making architecture observations.

You don't need to be an artist, anyone can discover and observe architecture , lets play feeling like an architecture student and live a real experience of Valparaíso while i share with you my favorite places in Valparaiso for observing space and life.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Plaza Sotomayor, Valparaiso Chile

We will introduce you to the foundations of the city and evolution of the port in time, gaining terrain to the sea.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Ascensor El Peral, Miramar / Plaza de la Justicia, Valparaiso Chile

We will climb the hills of Valparaiso with the 100 years hills elevator El Peral

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Paseo Yugoeslavo Ex Paseo Americano, Cerro Concepcion, Valparaiso Chile

First step for observation through sketching or Photography we will introduce you to the sketching implements and give time to explore the balcony to the sea and its particular architecture. if you don't like sketching you can photograph and be a part of the adventure with your camera!

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Cerro Alegre, Valparaiso Chile

We will walk through the "Happy Hill" or Cerro alegre and i will show you special corners and streets adding some corners and spots i like to draw and photograph outside of regular touristik routes .

Stop At: Abtao, Cerro Concepcion 675 Abtao, Cerro Concepcion, Valparaiso 2370822 Chile

We will take a route through the stairs of Apolo alley and pass to the Concepción Hill passing the rainbow stairs of Fischer passage I will take you to the Galvez Alley where we will take our time to photograph and sketch the corners and special way the street closes and open in passages and inner yards.

Stop At: Paseo Gervasoni, Cerro Concepcion, Valparaiso Chile

We will pass through Gervasoni Balcony the hill opens to the sea again

Stop At: Paseo Atkinson, Cerro Concepcion, Valparaiso Chile

We will pass through famous sketching spots and arrive to Atkinson balcony a nice example on how victorian english architecture gets inserted in the topography of Valparaiso.

Stop At: Iglesia Luterana de La Santa Cruz de Valparaiso, Abtao 689 Cerro Concepción, Valparaiso Chile

We will pass by the Lutherane church and look at the inner balconys that show hill to hill view

Stop At: Catedral Saint Paul, Pilcomayo 566, Valparaiso 2370787 Chile

We will pass through the Saint Paul church, and climb the hills through Templemann streets

Stop At: Ascensor Reina Victoria, Calle Elias, Valparaiso Chile

We will pass the passage Dimalow where we will see the Lutherane Church and Concepcion hill from another view, taking our time to draw and climb down the hill with the hill lift Ascensor Reina Victoria.

Stop At: Plaza Anibal Pinto, Calle Almirante Montt, Valparaiso Chile

We will take in the Anibal Pinto Square a trolley bus an old way to travell through the streets of Valparaiso to get to our next step

Stop At: Ascensor Espiritu Santo, Calle Adunate 1564, Valparaiso Chile

We will climb the hill with the espíritu santo hill lift to reach one of the most beautifull artistics spots in Valparaiso: the open ceiling museum

Stop At: Museo a Cielo Abierto, Calle Aldunate bis Calle Rudolph, Valparaiso Chile

This open ceiling museum is a unique wall paintings art display , we will take our time for a photograph walk through the alleys and stairs looking at the wall art climbing down again to our ending spot
