The luxury cruise ship President No. 8 started their maiden voyage in April, 2013 as one of the largest Yangtze River cruise ships. As the sister ship of President No. 7, they have the same class and design with 146.8 m in length and 20.2 m in width. They each contains 215 luxury Standard Cabins, 13 luxury Executive Cabins, and 2 Presidential Suites, totaling 230 rooms for 460 guests.

Itinerary

Day 1: Embarkation in Chongqing

Stop At: Chongqing Chaotianmen, Interchange of Yangtze River and Jialing River , Yuzhong District, Chongqing 400000 China
Check in the cruise ship at Chaotianmen Pier between 17:30-20:00.

Day 2: Yangtze River Cruise - Shibaozhai

Stop At: Shi Bao Zhai, No.17 Yinshan Street, Baoshi Town, Zhong County 404332 China
Shibaozhai is a historic site on the banks of the Yangtze River, near Chongqing. The name translates as Stone Treasure Fortress. At the site is a rocky hill with steep slopes, and up the side of the hill is a beautiful red pavilion, which actually leans against the side, creating a walkway to a stunning temple that sits on the peak.

Stop At: Ghost City of Fengdu, North bank of Yangtze River, Chongqing 408200 China
Fengdu Ghost City is an optional excursion and the price is CNY 290 per person.

Day 3: Yangtze River Cruise - Shennong Stream

Stop At: Shennong Stream, North Shore of Wu Gorge, Badong County 442400 China
Transfer to another vessel for a relaxing excursion through the attractive gorges of Shennong Stream (Included).
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Chongqing Baidi City, North bank of Yangtze River, Qutang Gap Mouth, Fengjie County 404600 China
Additional optional shore excursion (available in the morning, river conditions permitting) to White Emperor City (CNY 290 per person), an ancient city overlooking the western end of Qutang Gorge.

Day 4: Yangtze River Cruise - Three Gorges Dam & Arrive in Yichang

Stop At: Three Gorges Dam Project, Sandouping Town, Yiling District, Yichang 443134 China
Disembark this morning and take a tour of the Three Gorges Dam (included), which spans the Yangtze River at Sandouping in Xiling Gorge. It is the world’s largest power station.
