Tianjin Shore Excursion: Great Wall at Huangyaguan Section

When your cruise visits Tianjin, witness the Great Wall of China at Huangyaguan section, on a private shore excursion. Accompanied by a guide, visit one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall and marvel at the spectacular scenery that surrounds the Huangyaguan Section.  Entrance fees, English speaking tour guide, private vehicle and round-trip transportation from the cruise port are included.

Your English-speaking guide will wait for you at the exit of the Arrival Hall with a sign with your name on at prearranged time, and then enjoy over one hour journey to Huangyaguan by private air-conditioned vehicle. 

During your 2.5 hour journey, you will take in views of the Tianjin countryside and the Tianjin Xingang Port. On the way, your tour guide will tell the related histories and stories, feel free to ask questions if you have. 

Huangyaguan Great Wall is considered to be a miniature of the Great Wall. The Huangyaguan Great Wall originally constructed in the Northen Qi Dynasty (550-557) and it was repaired by General Qi Jiguang in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The Huangyaguan Great Wall with a total length of 42 kilometers, 52 watch towers and 14 beacon towers were built along this section. This section of the wall was restored between 1984-1986, and opened to the public in 1987. There are 20 watch towers being restored with total length of 3 kilometer.

Admire the beautiful mountain sceneries, when you are ready to leave, you will be transferred back to Tianjin International Cruise port.
