In Tayrona Park you’ll enjoy Seven Waves Beach and a boat ride to Playa Cristal, along with some wonderful beach time and time to explore the jungle. You’ll also enjoy an ecological walk for a couple of hours to Cabo San Juan, passing through tropical jungle and many simply stunning beaches along the way.

Itinerary

Day 1: Tayrona Park and Cabo San Juan

Stop At: Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, Santa Marta 470007 Colombia
You'll be collected from your hotel and make your way to the Tayrona National Park for a two-hour ecological jungle walk — plus a visit to four beaches! You will learn about this pristine natural environment, the indigenous people, and the fauna (including caimans, similar to alligators) on your trip here. The park is closed for a month every year, and you’ll be able to find out what activities the indigenous people do during this time.

Then, hit the beautiful beaches for a fun time! Visit the Arenillas, La Piscina, Los Arrecifes, and Cabo San Juan beaches. At Cabo San Juan, enjoy yourself for three hours on the shore or in the beautiful Caribbean waters. You can go snorkeling or just laze on the beach! Afterward, return to your vehicle after a long walk through the lush jungle.

Day 2: Minca Tour

Stop At: MINCA, Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
You’ll be collected from your accommodation Santa Marta accommodation and taken into the magical mountains of the Sierra Nevarda and to the beautiful town of Minca. Once here you’ll be taken on a tour of this wonderful town, along with checking out a coffee farm, a cocoa farm, enjoying an ecological walk, some beautiful waterfalls, a swim if you desire and a stop for lunch in a house made of Bamboo.

Day 3: Tayrona Park and Playa Cristal

Stop At: Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, Santa Marta 470007 Colombia
You’ll start this day early with a 7 am pickup to maximize your Tayrona National Park and beach time.

You’ll be driven taken to Tayrona park and enjoy the fantastic view of Seven Waves beach. Along with some amazing ecological walks, you’ll also kick-back and relax in a boat ride to Playa Cristal (approx. 4-5 hours beach time). Where you will find some amazingly clear waters that are just perfect for snorkeling and exploring. So be sure to bring an underwater camera if you can find one, as the multi-colored fish are just spectacular.
After you have had an absolutely magical time you will enjoy yet another boat ride and a comfortable drive back to your accommodation in Santa Marta
