Notice to the adventurous, this tour is for you! Located in the heart of the Osa Peninsula, the Corcovado National Park is a pure jewel of biodiversity. With its lush vegetation, the Corcovado is home to many rare and endangered species, such as the Baird Tapir, the giant anteater, the discreet jaguar or the ocelot. For three days, you will cross via a great trek the Corcovado Park and sleep in bivouac in the middle of nature.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Jimenez and hike to your accommodation

Stop At: Corcovado National Park Ranger Station, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica
At the beginning of the afternoon, you will meet your guide in Puerto Jimenez and together, you will walk the 6 km that separate you from your home, a local finca of our selection.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Corcovado National Park Ranger Station, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica
At night, you will discover, with your naturalist guide, wildlife waking up during a nocturnal tour in nature.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 2: Hike from Los Patos to La Sirena in Corcovado National Park

Stop At: Corcovado National Park, Los Patos Sirena Trail, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica
From your accommodation you will walk to the Corcovado National Park. You will hike in the park from the station Los Patos to the station La Sirena for a whole day (26 km). You may have the chance to see the famous Tapir, very present in this part of the park.

Stop At: Corcovado National Park, Los Patos Sirena Trail, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica
At night, you will stay in bivouac in the heart of Corcovado National Park, in La Sirena Station. A complete immersion in nature!

Day 3: Hiking from La Sirena station to the beach

Stop At: Corcovado National Park, Los Patos Sirena Trail, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica
After a night spent in the heart of the park in La Sirena Station, you will continue your trek through the woods to the beaches of Carate for 20 km. We will then drive you to Puerto Jimenez (or another place, according to your itinerary).
