Stop At: Sarapiqui River, Costa Rica

This exciting Class III-IV white water rafting tour begins with your pickup at your hotel in San Jose. The bus may stop at other hotels to pickup fellow rafters. Storage above your seat is available for your backpack, change of clothing and toiletry items you might need at the end of the tour.

 

Once you reach the river, our helpful, trained guides will go over the safety procedure to prepare you for your day of paddling. When you are familiar with the commands – you are ready to start your Rafting Adventure. 

The Sarapiqui River is  action  packed  and you  wont miss a beat on  this continuous  class 3-4 river. It winds through spectacular tropical  scenery so between rapids you might be treated to sights of great Costa Rica wildlife species.  At the halfway point you will take a break while your guides prepare some delicious snacks and tropical fruit on the river bank, so you can refuel, surrounded by the serene and majestic beauty of the rainforest.

A delicious, typical lunch is served at a traditional country estate designed for guests to truly experience Costa Rica’s peaceful country life. Come to understand the meaning of Costa Rica’s favorite saying, “Pura Vida!” The rafting bus will take you to your La Fortuna hotel between 3:30pm and 4pm
