Morning transfer you from Bahir Dar airport in to your selected hotels or pick you up from you hotel, then drive to admire the Blue Nile falls.The Blue Nile Falls, known locally as Tis Abay (smoke of the Nile) or Tis lsat (water that smokes), are best known for the volume of water that pours from the 45m high rocks, especially during the rainy season. Above the waterfall the Nile is 400m wide while below the falls, the gorge is estimated to be 37m deep. Lunch back to Bahirdar.
Afternoon boat trip on lake Tana to admire the beautiful monasteries over the lakes islands, The Lake Tana Monasteries.
There are more than 20 monasteries that cover the islands and peninsulas on Lake Tana. Most were built during the 14th century. A few are even older.stopped in mystery and legend those old churches form peaceful retreats for their monastic residents and visiting tourists alike. As in so many parts of Ethiopia, the strong conservationist element in Orthodox Christianity has ensured that the monasteries practically double as nature sanctuaries. as Asua Mariam and Ura Kidane Mehret, with also the visit of an Amhara people village & coffee plantation then back to Bahir Dar.

The Blue Nile Falls are a waterfall on the Blue Nile River in Ethiopia. They are known as Tis Issat in Amharic, when translated,means "smoking water" They are situated on the upper course of the river, about 30 kilometers downstream from the town of BahirDar and Lake Tana.
