As Bazas and the area is not accessible by public transportation, this is a great way to see what the real French countryside is like. This village is a hidden gem, with beautiful landscapes, interesting history and heritage breeds of animals. A unique chance to see a lively village without being surrounded by a lot of other visitors. Please note that we do our best to accommodate farm visit requests but cannot guarantee which exact farms will be available that day. This tour will happen rain or shine, so dress for the weather :)

The other locations are too small to be listed, but include a Bazadais cattle farm and local restaurant in Bazas.

Stop At: Coopérative Palmagri, 8 Rue Partarrieu, 33124 Auros, France

We will visit a local fois gras farm and learn from the farmer how these ducks are raised, then head to the location where the birds are processed and changed into a large variety of products.

Stop At: Chateau de Roquetaillade, D223, 33210 Mazeres France

Next door is La Grange winery which makes a red and white wine but also owns a nearby vineyard making sweet whites. We will learn how they're made and have a tasting.
