Mtskheta is the ancient capital of Georgia, the place with which the formation of the statehood of the Georgian people is related.

Svetitskhoveli, first of all, was a religious center of Georgia, as it was a cathedral and residence of the heads of the Georgian church, patriarchs.
• Jvari Monastery is another important cultural, religious and architectural monument in Georgian reality. It is erected on a high mountain and has more than 1,400 years of standing above it, guarding the holy city of Mtskheta.
• Uplistsikhe - carved in the rock city fortress II-I centuries. BC, which is the oldest of its kind among the monuments of Georgia. The name of the city, Uplistsikhe, is connected with the power of a leader of a local tribe who lived in the distant past, who was called “like God” (“Uplis“ –god’s, “tsikhe“ - fortress). Nowadays, the city, carved into the rock, is a museum-preserve, where there are remained 150 caves and the church of St. George of the Byzantine style. The greatness of the fortified city is also evidenced by the fact that since 2007 it has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Waiting List.
• Stalin‘s House-Museum - Gori is a city which gave birth and rose a world-scale politician, Joseph Stalin, who, with his name on the world stage, made Georgia famous. That‘s why in this small, quiet, though so important city, is the Stalin’s State Museum, where is represented his memorial house along with the exposition building with a tower and Stalin‘s personal car with an interior that was on his trip to Tehran, Yalta and Potsdam .
