Itinerary

Day 1: Tbilisi - Signagi

Stop At: Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi, Tbilisi Georgia
The tour starts at 11.00 o'clock. We will wait for you at your hotel’s entrance and drive you by comfortable minibus to Pirosmani’s native Kakheti
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Badiauri Complex, Sagarejo, S5, Badiauri, Georgia
On the way to Kakheti, we will have a stop for lunch.

Stop At: Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino, Signagi Georgia
The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe, located 2 km from the town of Sighnaghi. Originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodeled, especially in the 17th century. The monastery now functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there

The next stop is Sighnaghi – the city of love. Accommodation at Sighnaghi’s hotel, where you will be able to have a little rest visiting the Spa Center and Pool.

Then we will visit the local Museum. The main feature of the Sighnaghi Museum is the rich collection of Pirosmani's works. Beside it, there is an interesting exhibition for those who are interested in Ethnography and Medieval Archeology. The tour will be accompanied by the local guide

Stop At: Signagi City Walls, Signagi Georgia
In the museum, we will arrange the most important part of our trip – art workshop, which implies painting sessions according to Pirosmani’s art with a lesson in the main elements of composition, color, and pastel painting technique. The interesting art workshop will be followed by a demonstration of your own paintings

Then we will have a little rest with lunch, where you will taste Georgian food

Stop At: House-Museum of Niko Pirosmani, Mirzaani Georgia
Our trip will continue in Pirosmani Museum in Mirzaani, where the local guide will inform you about Pirosmani’s life. You will be able to see an interesting exhibition

In the afternoon we will head back to Tbilisi. On the way, we will have a stop for dinner at the popular Georgian restaurant.
