Discover Budapest and the architectural heritage of the dual Monarchy

During our tour, we’re walking in the inner city of Pest, where we’ll visit the most important streets, squares and buildings. We’ll follow the changes of the city’s shape during the centuries, and trying to understand the story of the most important buildings. Hopefully we will get to enjoy a short break in a 'strudel house' typical to the times of Monarchy-era’s Pest, where we'll try out a Hungarian cake, the strudel. Everybody heard about the Parliament building, the Basilica, the Andrássy street. But what lies around them? How does the city looks like which holds all these fascinating places together? Let’s find out the answers together!

We'll visit the Hungarian Parliament Building, where you'll hear about most important informations, storys and facts about the construction.

Stop At: St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), Szent Istvan ter 1, Budapest 1051 Hungary

We'll visit the building inside, where you'll hear about the construction, arhcitecture and storys of the church.

Stop At: Danube River, Budapest Hungary

We'll have a short walk along the riverside with a panoramic view.

We'll visit the Holocaust memorieal called the "Shoes on the Danube"
