Oil lamps are lit and the huge flames of fire go up in the air and down in clock-wise movement as dhoti-kurta clad priests offer them to God amidst loud chants on the banks of the holy river Ganga. It is a spectacular view to witness hundreds of devotees and tourists gather on the flight of steps that border the river to offer their prayers and observe this ritual called the ‘Ganga aarti’ being performed every single day at sunrise and sunset.

Day 01:-Delhi-Haridwar

Early Morning you will be received from your Hotel or Airport and there will be drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in at the Hotel. Situated at the foot hills of the Himalayas, the city is a doorway to the land of holy shrines and pilgrimages, prayer and devotion. Haridwar in Hindi literally means "Gateway to the Lord". The city also represents the point where the sacred river Ganga enters the plains. Haridwar is the site of the Maha Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years, which is the biggest congregation in the world. Day 02:-Haridwar

Morning after breakfast visit. the Ghat at Haridwar is considered the most sacred spot. The other attraction of Haridwar are Chandi Devi, Temple, Mansa Devi Temple, Sapt Rishi Ashram etc.

Day 03:-Haridwar-Rishikesh-Haridwar

Morning after breakfast visit Rishikesh: At 1360 m. above sea-level, Rishikeh is a peaceful, serene place inhabited by sadhus and mendicants, and visited by tourists and pilgrims alike. People come to Rishikesh to meditate and study yoga, among other things.

The other attraction of Rishikesh is the Laxman Jhoola over the river Ganga, which connects the two sides of the town.

Day 04:-Rishikesh-Delhi

Morning after breakfast check out from the Haridwar Hotel and there will be drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi you will be either dropped at Airport or your pre booked City center Delhi hotel.
