Detail Tour Program

Day 01 : Arrival At Leh
On arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative at the airport and and Drop to the Hotel.
Complete day for the acclimatization & rest as Leh is at an altitude of 3500 Mtrs above sea level. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 02 : Leh - Lamayuru via, (Magnetic Hill, Sangam )
After Breakfast drive the Lamayuru (approx. 130 kms.) one the way visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill , Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), after procced to Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining 'Moonland' features.

Lamayuru Monastery was founded in the 10th century which is located at a scenic spot at a distance around 125 kms. away in the west of Leh. Bewitching beauty of its spot has subjected this monastery to a legend.
Lamayuru is known for its monastery, and for its "lunar" landscape - quaintly promoted as a "Moonscape" for tourists. The landscape is certainly incredible with its spectacularly odd geological formations, though this is not unique to Lamayuru.

Day 03 : Lamayuru - Alchi - Leh
After breakfast drive back to Leh, en route visiting the 11th century Alchi Monastery oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. after proceed back to Leh and Visit to Hall of Fame , Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace
Overnight Stay in hotel.

Day 04 : Leh Monastery Sightseeing
After Breakfast visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh.
en route visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery , Shey Monastery, 3 Idiot School and Sindhu Darshan
After sightseeing back to Hotel, Overnight in hotel.

Hemis monastery
Hemis monastery is one of the popular tourist destinations in Ladakh. This monastery is stationed on the west bank of the peaceful river Indus. The location lies 45 km from Leh city. This is the largest as well as amost favored monastery in Ladakh was constructed in 1672 AD under the reign of King Singge Namgyal. Hemis monastery host an annual festival called Hemis Tsechu attracts plenty of tourists across the globe. During this colourful day-long festival the local resident lamas glorify the victory of good over bad and perform dance wearing holy masks.

Thiksey Monastery
Thiksey Monastery is a convenient 45 min drive from Leh - the main city in Ladakh. There is good choice of accomodation available in Leh. Alternatively, one can stay at the excellent Chamba Hotel at the base of Thiksey monastery and run by the Monastery. Chamba Hotel has traditional Ladakhi architecture.

The Druk White Lotus School (3 Idiots School)
The great Indian Films! They make places a popular tourist spot out of nowhere!! Amir Khan Starrer "3 idiots" is one of such Indian Boolywood movie. Some parts of the film were shot at Pangaong Lake, Ladakh and some in a school near Leh named "The Druk White Lotus School" . The school is located 15 km from Leh town on the Leh-Manali highway in the village Shey. This school became a popular tourist spot after huge success of the movie and after damage of its building by cloudburst that struck Leh on August 2010. The actor Amir Khan visited the school after the incident and helped to raise funds for rebuilding damage structure of the school.

Day 05: Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass - Hunder (120 Km / 4 - 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft).

Visit to Diskit Monastery after drive to Hunder. On your arrival in Hunder check in the camp.
After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village.
Overnight stay in Hunder.

Diskit Monastery (Leh)
Diskit Monastery also known as Diskit Gompa or Diskit Gompa is the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh, northern India.
Diskit monastery is situated in the Nubra valley of Ladakh. Also known as Diskit Gompa, the Buddhist center is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Leh Ladakh. The Diskit monastery was founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo in the 14th century, and at present stands atop a hill above the plains of Shayok river. The prime attraction of the Diskit monastery is 100 foot high Maitreya Buddha statue, which was inaugurated by the holy Dalai Lama. From the top of the Gompa, where the divine statue is settled, one can have a panoramic view of the Nubra valley.

Day 06: Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder
After early Breakfast, Turtuk , The Land of Baltis, which was under control of Pakistan before 1971 War between the two nations. You may like to visit 16 century Mosque and Minaret, Royal house of Yabgo dynasty, Ruin palace of Pun Khar, Historic polo ground, After Sightseeing back to Hunder
Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 07: Hunder - Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok
After breakfast at hotel we drive to next destination pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik ( Pangong). It's a short cut and it's a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village. It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your day at pangong lake. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 08 : Pangong Lake - Hemis / Thiksey - Leh
After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la Pass. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, en route visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery , Shey Monastery, 3 Idiot School and after sightseeing check in Hotel and overnight in hotel.

Day 09 :- Leh- Tsomoriri / Korzok (15070 ft. / 220 kms.)
Early departure for Tsomo-riri Lake (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri Lake (28 km long & about 8 km wide) is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including the rare bar-headed geese. Dinner & overnight in fixed camp or Guest House.

Day 10 :- Tsomoriri- Tsokar - Taglangla - Leh (17582 ft.)- Leh-approx 200 kms) :
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en- route. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11 :- Departure Leh
Early morning after breakfast : transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
