• First going to Botanical Garden. was originally part of the 'samida' (artificial forest or artificial garden) which at least existed in the government of Sri Baduga Maharaja (Prabu Siliwangi, 1474-1513) from the Sunda Kingdom, as written in the Batutulis inscription. The artificial forest is intended for the need to preserve the environment as a place to maintain rare wood seedlings. Next to the samida was a similar samida at the Cianjur border with Bogor (Ciung Wanara Forest).
