After witnessing the gorgeous sunrise view at Borobudur Temple, head just a few miles northeast of Yogyakarta to another World Heritage Site by Unesco, the magnificent Prambanan temple complex. This temple complex is a collection of three main temples dedicated to Hindu deities; Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu. This temple is the most graceful Hindu temples in Indonesia. The outer area of the compound is a carpet of lush green, whereas the interior has tall 47 meters structures.

After that, we will visit Plaosan Temples and Ruins. Plaosan temple complex comprises of two spectacular Buddhist and Hindu’s temple all at one. The temple is a beautiful blend of Buddhist and Hindu culture that is clear from the structure and shape of the temple. The top of the shrine is characteristic of Hindu worship places while the base of the temple is typical of a Buddhist structure. You will be also be greeted by spectacular views of green rice fields surround the temple and enjoy the architecture of Plaosan with a cup of coffee at a small shop nearby.

Just 3 kilometers to the south of Prambanan Temple, there is a place where beautiful sunset with the view of Yogyakarta on top called Queen Boko or Ratu Boko temple. The temple has 16 hectare archaeological site with an audience hall, pool, two caves and a main entrance where unbelievable sunsets shine through. Explore the expansive grounds with its mystery and majestic surronding befor your enjoy your dreamy sunset.
