Borobudur Sunrise and River Tubing

We will spend full day exploring part of the beauty of Java island visiting early morning for sunrise at the amazing great Buddhist temple "Borobudur", Pawon and Mendut temples which are located closed by, then take a river tubing at the foot of Merbabu mountain decorated with the lush and green environment.

If you stay at Yogyakarta hotel, we must start early morning leaving for Borobudur temple at 03.30 am, but if you stay at Borobudur's area we may leave for the temple at 04.30 am. We will climb the great temple and stay at the top of Borobudur temple waiting for a beautiful sunrise at around 05.30-06.00. The sun will come up in a different time each months with the backdrop view of Merapi and Merbabu volcanoes at the east side. After enjoying the quiet time and see the beautiful sunrise on the top of the temple, our local knowledgeable tour guide will take you around to tell you the hidden stories and histories of Borobudur temple. He will advise you which angle to take best photography, as well while explaining stories of the temple.

Afterwards, we will enjoy the local coffee, tea and light snacks at a restaurant with Borobudur front view. Enjoying the tea and coffee and the light snacks, we will escort you to visit other two temples nearby which have story and historical connection to Borobudur temple. Take picture as many as possible. If you are interested in to visit the local market and a coffee local home industry, our English speaking driver will be happy to escort you before driving up to the mountain to take a river tubing activity.

The location of the river is on the foot of Merbabu mountain which is a hidden paradise for the green, lush and fresh air in a tropical great environment. We will walk through the rice terrace and village to get the river.

After enjoying the fun adventure activity, we will take a refresh and drive to a local nice restaurant to have a big lunch of the local cuisine. Afterwards, we drive back to yo Borobudur hotel's stay in Yogyakarta or Borobudur area.
