In this trekking trip in the rice fields with Nyoman you’ll be immersed in the green beauty of Sidemen. Natural and unspoiled and one of the great secrets of Bali, Sidemen has verdant rice terraces as far as the eye can see.

Nyoman is really laid back, has good English and his love of nature and community really shines through. There’s no hard sell, he grew up in this village and is a wealth of knowledge about the history and traditions.

On the walk through the rice terraces you’ll hear about traditional farming methods, planting and harvesting cycles, compost, and crop rotation and see farmers working in the fields.
