Panguk Sunrise and Jomblang Cave

Start early morning to chase the beautiful sunrise from Panguk hill accompanied with coffee and light traditional snacks. Then, driving the Jomblang cave, a vertical cave with its phenomena of 'the light from a heaven'. Drive back to Yogyakarta and spend the rest time at Malioboro street.

Today, we start early morning at 04.30 leaving for a nice spot called Panguk hill to see and enjoy the sunrise accompanied by a local coffee and traditional snacks. Take your time to chase a beautiful sunrise before heading to the phenomenal cave called Jomblang cave. A vertical or pit cave with 60 meters deep.

After seeing the sunrise you will head to Jomblang cave which is a 45 minutes to 1 hour drive. This phenomenal vertical cave is a great place to explore with its unique characteristics which you won't find anywhere else. Before entering the cave you will be given instructions and will be set up with safety equipment to rappel down the cave. Explore and spend 2-hours in the cave and experience what they call 'a light from the heaven'.

Upon heading back to the surface you can take a fresh shower and break before heading back to Yogyakarta.
