Itinerary

Day 1: Your Hotel - Sengaru Village - Sembalun Village - Crater Rim Sembalun Camp Area

Stop At: Rinjani Trekking Center, Jalan Pariwisata, Senaru, Bayan, Senaru, Bayan, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Nusa Tenggara Bar. 83354, Indonesia
Our driver will pick you up at hotel lobby by 04.00-04:30 AM (Depend on your hotel location) transfer direct to Senaru village. Check in at our office, Breakfast, and Meet the guide and crew for Trekking Briefing.

Stop At: Sembalun Village, Lombok 83354 Indonesia
After Breakfast, we will drive you to Sembalun Village for Register and check in your online TREKKING PASS at Rinjani National Park Registration Office in Sembalun Lawang (1,156 m).

Stop At: Pelawangan Sembalun, Sembalun Lawang, Sembalun, Sembalun Lawang, Sembalun, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Bar. 83656, Indonesia
The trek starts from Sembalun Lawang with the gentle ascend walking through open grassland used as cattle grazing by local people. Resting at Post 1 Pemantauan (1,300), after about three hours from Sembalun we reach Postt 2 Tengengean (1,500 m) enjoying the beautiful views of Mt. Rinjani summit (3,726 m) while enjoying your lunch.

After another hours ascend to Post 3 Pada Balong (1,800 m), we start the step 3,5 climb amidst the pine-like Casuarinas species locally known as Cemara, perhaps seeing evidence of wild pigs and the long-tailed grey macaque monkeys to the camp site at Plawangan II Sembalun crater rim (2,639 m). Crew will set up all necessary gear here (tent, sleeping bag, mattress, pillow and toilet tent) and preparing your dinner.

Day 2: Crater Rim Sembalun - Segara Anak Lake - Hot Spring Water - Crater Rim Sembalun

Stop At: Pelawangan Sembalun, Sembalun Lawang, Sembalun, Sembalun Lawang, Sembalun, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Bar. 83656, Indonesia
Depend on the season, sun normally rise by 06:15-07:00 am. Crew will preparing Coffee or tea and light snack while you enjoying the Sunrise. Breakfast will be serve by 07:30 am.

Stop At: Segara Anak Lake, Desa Sembalun Lawang Rinjani Mountain, Lombok Indonesia
After breakfast you will start descend down to Segara Anak Lake (2,000 m) within the Rinjani crater. It takes two to three hours down the steep trail to the crater lake. Mt. Baru Jari is an island in the lake and an active volcano, last erupting dramatically in 1994 followed by small eruption on 2004, 2015 and 2016.

Enjoy the lake, swimming and pilgrimage hot springs, believed to have healing powers, while the crew preparing for your lunch. Lunch will be at Lake side about 12:00-13:00.

About 14:00, you will leave Lake area ascend up back to Crater Rim Sembalun Camp Area. The way back to camp area will take about 3-4 hours.

Expecting to arrive at Crater Rim Sembalun Camp area by 17:00-18:00, Free time while crew will preparing your dinner. After dinner, this night expecting sleep earlier for early morning Summit attack in the next day.

Day 3: Crater Rim Sembalun - Summit - Sembalun Village - Your Next Destination

Stop At: Mount Rinjani National Park Sembalun Lawang, Lombok 83656 Indonesia
At 02:00 AM starts is necessary for the hard 3-3,5 hours climb to the mt rinjani summit (3,726 m) on volcanic screen. Once there, enjoy proud feelings of satisfaction and the amazing sunrise views across the Wallace Line to Bali, Mt. Agung and Sumbawa. Taking photograph about 1 hours and back descend down to the camp area. Return down the ridge passing numerous edelweiss plants (Bunga Abadi) to the camp for a well-deserved breakfast.

After breakfast you will start descend down back to Sembalun village. Lunch will be serve at Pos II Sembalun.
