Day 2: Lemo – Londa – Kete Kesu

Stop At: Lemo, Off Makale-Rantepao Road Tanah Toraja, Makale Indonesia
A burial site comprised of a commanding karst cliff that blends beautifully with the surrounding vegetation and rice fields. This burial site is estimated to date back to the 16th century and you will see several Tau Tau (wooden statues) craftsmen who have sold these figurines at this site for generations.

Rammang-Rammang is conveniently located just a few meters from the highway across provinces. The name of "Rammang-Rammang" comes from the language of Makassar, where rammang means "cloud" or "mist". So, rammang-rammang means a set of cloud or fog. According to the local believe this place was named Rammang-Rammang because of the clouds or fog that always appearing around the area, especially in the morning or when it rains.
