the tour will begin at the Coliseum and with your pre-booked entry tickets you will avoid the queues and be taken directly inside. You’ll learn more about the history of this spectacular amphitheatre, how it was planned and built and hear tales of the violent combats that took place there.

Upon leaving the Colosseum, you’ll see the Arch of Constantine and take a walk to the Forum, the main square and the hub of life in Ancient Rome. Here is the location of the ruins of the Temple of Julius Caesar, built on the site of his cremation, the Arch of Titus, House of the Vestal Virgins, the Senate House, the Basilica of Maxentius and much more. The ruins reflect the blend of political, religious and social activity, for which the Forum was a focal point.

One of the best known and most recognisable landmarks of the modern city is Il Vittoriano; the monument built in 1885 in honour of King Victor Emmanuel II.
