One thousand and one nights : The Marvellous of Jordan

Complete circuit of discovering the wonders of Jordan, which will take you through the ages to see and feel the diversity of cultures, History and Landscape. You will be delighted by the visit of Nabatean tombs which carved into the rocks, Byzantine mosaics, Roman towns, Crusaders castles and the ocher Sand dunes of Wadi Rum. Enjoying unique sceneries in the heart of Dana Nature Reserve, and will be touched by the hospitality of Jordanian Bedouins.

Day1: ARRIVAL/AMMAN AIRPORT OR LAND BORDERS /AMMAN HOTEL
Upon arriving Queen Alia International Airport or at Land Borders, you will be received by our representatives assisting you on your way through immigration. Followed by privet transfer to Amman (33 km from airport) for check-in at your in hotel Amman.

Day2: AMMAN / JERASH / AJLOUN / UM QAIS /AMMAN
Departure to visit the splendidly preserved Greco-Roman city of Jarash,
Jarash is one of the most important and best preserved Roman city of the Decapolis. It is also known as the Pompeii of the east. Road through the pine forests and olive groves until to the fortress of Ajloun.(Qa'lat Al Rabaht) overlooking the Jordan Valley It was built in 1184 by Izz al-Din Usama, a general in the army of Saladin. The castle controlled traffic along the road connecting Damascus and Egypt. Road to visit Um Qais Historically known as Gadara, Um Qais is one of Jordan's most unique Greco Roman Decapolis sites. Tucked away in the black basalt hillside, at a height of 378 meters above sea level, Um Qais offers an incomparable panoramic view offers incomparable panoramic views over the northern Jordan valley, the Sea of Galilee (Lake Tiberius), the Yarmouk Gorge and the Golan Heights. On a clear day, snow topped Mount Hermon is visible. Drive to Amman and overnight at the hotel-Amman.

Day3: AMMAN / DESERT CASTLES / AMMAN CITY TOUR
Departure to the east desert to visit the Desert Castles: Qasr Al Kharraneh, Qasr Amra and Qasr Al-Azraq, built by the Omayyad Caliphs of Damascus in the 8th century AD as hunting lodges. Wildly varied in architectural style. Lunch, back to Amman. Back to Amman. Visit the old Town off Amman with its Roman Theater and Citadel. The ancient and modern capital of Jordan, originally built on seven hills and from the top of the citadel, one of the highest hills, you can
have a splendid view of the old city. Overnight-Amman.

Day4: AMMAN / BETHANIE / DEAD SEA
After Breakfast we will head through the Jordan valley, then along the shore of the Dead Sea to visit Bethany: The site of John the Baptists, at Bethany beyond the Jordan Where Jesus was baptized. After the visit we depart to the Dead Sea, 442m below the sea level austere, brutal, flooded by a blinding light, Lunch.and Free time for swimming and relaxing. Overnight at the hotel in Dead Sea.

Day5: DEAD SEA / MOUNT NEBO / MADABA / KERAK / DANA (Kings Way)
Morning departure to Madaba. Day dedicated to the kings road, ancient Silk Road.
Stop in Madaba, the 'City of Mosaics' which has the most famous mosaic map of the holy land '6th century', depicting Jerusalem and the Holy Land.Then Road to visit Mount Nebo , Mount Nebo is where Moses was given a view of the Promised Land and where he died and was buried. Here there are ruins of 4th and 6th C. churches whose floors are still covered with marvelous mosaic.the memorial of Moses offers spectacular views of the Jordan Valley. After the visit, crossing the Moujip Valley (Wadi al Moujip) spectacular Canyon between Madaba and Karak. Visit the Kerak castle, built by the Crusaders in the 12th century. We will arrive in the evening with the sunset over the mountains of Dana. Overnight at Dana Hotel.

Day6: DANA / SHOUBAK / LITTEL PETRA / PETRA(Kings Way)
Morning to visit The Dana Nature Reserve is one of Jordan’s hidden gems. The focal point of the reserve is the charming 15th-century stone village of Dana, which dangles beneath the King’s way on a precipice, commanding exceptional views of the valley below. Road to visit the Shawbak Castle (Montreal Castle) is a Crusader castle on the eastern side of the Arabah, perched on the side of a rocky, conical mountain, looking out over fruit trees below. We continue our tour by car to visit Little Petra. A suburb of the ancient city, it comes complete with its own mini-Siq, tombs, temples and various examples of domestic architecture, including water channels and some faint frescoes. Overnight at the hotel-Petra.

Day7 & Day8: PETRA
Morning to Petra, 2 full days to discover& to visit; Jordan's Jewel 'Petra' a city fully carved into the rock, there is no other site of its kind in Jordan, or perhaps throughout the Middle East. Lunch at the site of Petra. Overnight at the hotel.

Day9: PETRA / WADI RUM
Another great day has been planned! Leaving Petra focus on the timeless and unspoiled Wadi Rum, one of the world's most outstanding desert landscapes where monolithic mountains of sandstone and granite rise out of the rose-red desert sand creating a magnificent scene. Lying 120 Kms. south of Petra and 68 Kms. north of Aqaba, Wadi Rum is the classic picture of a sandy desert with sandstone hills rising sheer out of the valley floor. There are many ways to explore this unspoiled desert retreat. It is the ideal location for hiking, climbing and trekking. The scenery here has not changed since Colonel T.E. Lawrence’s time. Wadi Rum is still one of the most striking natural landscapes in the world. Enjoy a Bedouin 4x4 jeep ride inside the Wadi.diner and camp under the stars.

Day10: WADI RUM
Breakfast at the camp, Half Day Hiking ,lunch in the desert (option: Camel Ride, Horse Ride, Hot air balloon..),back to campsite for Bedouin B.B.Q diner and a night stay besides the fire under the most magnificent starry desert sky. Overnight in tent in Wadi Rum camp.

Day11: WADI RUM /AQABA
Breakfast, then Transfer to Aqaba , the day is free to enjoy this charming little city shaded by palm trees and pristine sandy beaches or to discover the coral reefs considered by divers to be the richest in the world. All you need is a diving mask. Overnight at the hotel.

Day12: AQABA (Red Sea)
Free day at leisure in Aqaba. Those interested in snorkeling can do so at one of the world's best conserved coral reefs. Overnight at the hotel.

Day13: AQABA /AMMAN
Back to Amman via the Wadi Araba, lunch. Arriving in Amman, free time. Dinner at Kan Zamman, a former caravanserai restored became a meeting place between Jordanian families. Overnight at the hotel.

Day14: DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport and Departure.
