This Safari safari is designed to show you the largest of Africa's wildlife - the African elephant - as well as several endangered animal species and birds in Lake Nakuru. The tour culminates with a chance to experience one of the great wonders of the world - the famous wildebeest migration at the Maasai Mara.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

Stop At: Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley Province
Depart Nairobi and drive via Rift valley escarpment; proceed to the hotel for lunch, this will be followed by an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is a haven for bird lovers, with over 400 species of bird, including flamingos and the endangered Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Maasai mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Depart after breakfast for the world famous Maasai Mara the beautiful scenery of riverine vegetation, rolling plains and open savannah is home of many animal species, including elephant, giraffe, hyena, impala, wildebeest and buffalo. Arrive for lunch at your camp. Head out on an afternoon game drive after lunch.

Day 3: Maasai Mara

Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
This may be the last day of your safari, but it could be the most thrilling, you have a choice of doing the Morning and afternoon game drive or going for a full day game drive with picnic lunch. There’s also the option today to take a hot-air balloon safari.

Day 4: Maasai Mara - Nairobi

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
Early morning game drive, back to the hotel for breakfast, then depart leisurely to Nairobi arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon, transfer to Nairobi airport for your onward flight.
