Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu

Pass By: Samburu National Reserve, Nairobi Kenya
Leave Nairobi early in the morning heading to the Samburu.

You will cross the equator on the way near Nanyuki. Arrival is in the afternoon

in time for lunch. Evening game drive taken and then back to the hotel .

Day 2: Samburu- Nanyuki / Naromoru

Pass By: Samburu National Reserve, Nairobi Kenya
Have an early game drive and then after breakfast head to

Naromoru arriving late afternoon. Have the rest of the evening to

yourself.

Day 3: Mt. Kenya Day Trip

Pass By: Mount Kenya National Park 10400 Kenya
After breakfast head to the Mt. Kenya park entrance and

after registration, then hike up through the rainforest up to Met station.

After some resting, taking photos and packed lunch, head back to the gate and

then to the hotel.

River lodge.

Day 4: Naivasha

Pass By: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Road Nakuru County Kenya
Leave Naromoru for

Naivasha. You will have a stopover at Thomson’s fall and then get to Naivasha

in time for lunch. Then have some boat ride in the early evening and then

dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Masai Mara

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
Leave Naivasha after breakfast and travel through the Great

Rift Valley. On the way there will be stop over at the view point to not only

have a good view of the magnificent floor of the Rift valley but also take

memorable photos. Get to Masai Mara early in the afternoon for lunch and then

game drives. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Masai Mara

Pass By: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
Masai Mara full day game viewing , with a picnic lunch in

the rolling grass of Mara with a visit to Mara river in search of the

crocodiles, Hippo, black rhino, lion, cheetah, elephant, and other plain game

where they are in abundance.

Day 7: Mara- Nairobi - Airport

Pass By: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya
Pre-breakfast game drive, and after breakfast depart for

Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Have lunch in Nairobi and then drop off in

the airport
