Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

Stop At: Nairobi National Museum, Museum Hill, Nairobi 00100 Kenya
Jambo! Welcome to Kenya. Your adventure begins at the National Museum of Kenya, then after depart for Lake Nakuru
Duration: 6 hours

Pass By: Great Rift Valley, Kenya
Discover the massive open Savannah Grasslands of the rift Valley. Great for photography.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru - lake Naivasha

Stop At: Great Rift Valley, Kenya
Drive north-west past splendid views of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Naivasha and Elementaita to Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 3–4 hours). Situated in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru National Park's small and compact area makes a great location for spotting wildlife. Along with the other members of the Big Five game, Lake Nakuru is home to rhinos, and there will be a good chance of spotting and photographing one of these magnificent beasts. Your exclusive camp, outside the park, is well situated and has flush toilets and showers.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha

Stop At: Crater Lake Game Sanctuary, Crater Lake, Naivasha 20117 Kenya
Naivasha is yet another area popular for bird watching (over 400species have been recorded). It is also a favourite weekend retreat for Nairobi residents, who come here to sail, water ski and fish. There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them, due to altitude but there are a number of hippos. Along the lakeshore, vineyards produce grapes for the country's fledgeling wine industry.

you may also enjoy a boat ride in the lake, Hippo can be easy spotted in the water as well as giraffes, zebras, different spies of huge water birds.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha

Stop At: Lake Naivasha, Naivasha Road Nakuru County Kenya
Enjoy some free time today. There are various optional activities to choose from. Perhaps venture to Hell's Gate National Park, which boasts beautiful cliffs, gorges, rock towers, volcanoes and a range of geothermal phenomena. Another great choice is to take a boat trip across Lake Naivasha – perhaps the best way to take in the atmosphere of this lush area. If you're looking for something active, perhaps hire a bike for the day and make some of your own discoveries, venturing beyond the cacti and olive trees.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara

Stop At: Mara Savannah Masai Market, Narok - Bomet Highway, Narok 20500 Kenya
Depart early morning to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Mara holds on as one of the few places le on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators.

Day 6: Masai Mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
Venture into the Masai Mara National Reserve for a full day's game drive in 4WDs. You'll explore this diverse environment and most likely see a multitude of wildlife. An optional balloon ride over the Mara at sunrise is an unforgettable experience. If you have pre-booked this activity (see the 'Important Notes' section) you will be picked up before dawn and driven to the launch site for a safety briefing from your pilot. Then you will glide through the dawn, sometimes at tree height, which provides amazing photo opportunities. Sometimes you will ascend, getting an overview of the enormity of the plains and of the early morning movements of the teeming herds. After landing, you'll be treated to a bush breakfast, then be returned to your campsite.

Day 7: Masai Mara - Nairobi

Stop At: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya
Say goodbye to the open expanses of the African bush and return to the bustling metropolis of Nairobi (approximately 5–6 hours). No accommodation is provided for tonight, but this can be arranged – please enquire at the time of booking this trip. You can be dropped at your hotel upon arrival in Nairobi. Notes: It's important not to book any outgoing international flights for earlier than 6 pm today.
