Cost depends on duration.

The Forest walking guides are well versed with the birdlife, fauna, and flora of Kereita Forest.

Kereita has been classified as an Important Bird Area (IBA) and boasts over 138 species, of which 20 are considered rare (ask your guide for a list).

Sykes’s Monkeys, forest hogs, duikers, bush babies, porcupines, small carnivores such as mongoose and civets, and three near-endemic butterflies, are just a few of the wonders that can be seen in Kereita’s rich biodiversity

There are plenty of scenic walking trails at The Forest, offering you an ideal way to explore and take in the surrounding natural beauty of Kereita’s valleys.

Prep yourself with a good pair of hiking shoes or trainers, a small backpack with drinking water, and allow our superb guides to make any point in the forest your destination. With guided walks you may well have the chance to see ageless trees, elephants, colobus monkey, and a fantastic range of rare and colourful birds.
