Kyrgyzstan 3 Days Issyk Kul Lake Round Tour
This tour covers all those important sites and famous cities around Issyk-Kul lake.
Along the road to the lake, we will first visit the Burana Tower, which marks the original site of the Karakhanid town, Balasagun. Located along the important branch of the Silk Road, it is now UNESCO World heritage.
Later we will visit a city of the north shore Cholpon-Ata, where the World Nomad Games are held. There you will also find an open-air museum of petroglyphs, Issyk-Kul State Historical and Cultural Museum.
In Karakol, you will find The Russian Orthodox Cathedral and Dungan Mosque. Karakol is also a famous hiking and skiing base. Then we will travel to Jety Oguz gorge, Barskoon gorge and Fairy Tale Canyon.
There are many other local attractions around Issyk-Kul Lake (for example, hotsprings, eagle hunting observation, traditional handcrafted workshop, visiting traditional Dungan village, etc.). Each group can specify its requirement.
Itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek - Cholpon-Ata
Stop At: Burana Tower, Don-Aryk, Tokmok 722201 Kyrgyzstan
Burana Tower (about 80km from Bishkek) is located along the important branch of the Silk Road, in which it marks the original site of the Karakhanid town. It is a UNESCO World heritage site. Surrounding the tower, you can also find ruins of Balasagun. The tower was originally 45m high, however over centuries, a number of earthquakes damaged the structure of the tower, and it now remains 25m high.

Stop At: Hippodrome Cholpon-Ata, A363, Cholpon Ata 722315 Kyrgyzstan
Cholpon-Ata, a city located along the north shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, is where the World Nomad Games (also known as Olympics for Nomads) are held. There you will also find an open-air museum of petroglyphs, Issyk-Kul State Historical and Cultural Museum, as well as sandy beaches and springs (depending on how long we will stay in every site)

Day 2: Cholpon-Ata - Karakol
Stop At: Karakol Gorge, Karakol Kyrgyzstan
We will visit The Russian Orthodox Cathedral and Dungan Mosque at Karakol
After lunch, we will go to the beautiful mountain site at Karakol. And we can arrange trekking with various levels (from 2 hours to half day), depending on the physical condition of tourist group. In case the tourist group has other preferences, we can arrange other activities (e.g., visiting traditional Dungan village or the interesting antique shop) instead of trekking

Day 3: Karakol - Jety Oguz gorge - Baskon - Bishkek
Stop At: Jeti-Oguz Canyon (Seven Bulls Rocks), Kyrgyzstan
Continue driving to the south shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, you will first see the marvelous Jety Oguz gorge (during summer, we will also visit the Bee farm nearby)
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Barskoon Waterfall, Jety Oguz Alley, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
You will then have adventure at Barskoon gorge (with a beautiful waterfall) as well as Fairy Tale Canyon
