8.30am meet and greet our friendly English Speaking Guide and Driver at the hotel lobby and proceed for your tour and You will be picked-up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and take a tour through the Melaka City.

St Peters Catholic Church: After the Portuguese captured Melaka in 1511, until it fell to the Dutch in 1641, Melaka’s rule was assisted by the heavy hand of the Roman Catholic Church, but the tables turned with the Calvinist Dutch when Catholic churches were destroyed and practices were forbidden.

Stop At: Dutch Square Or Red Square, The Stadthuys, Melaka Malaysia

Stadthuys and Christ Church, oldest Dutch building: The Stadthuys was built between 1641 and 1660 on the ruins of a fort which belongs to the Portuguese. It is believed that the Stadthuys is the oldest Dutch building in the East. This massive red building displays all the common features of the Dutch colonial architecture which includes substantial solid doors and louvered windows.

St. Paul’s Church: St. Paul’s Church was enlarged to two stories in 1556 (after the Archbishop of Goa in India handed over the church to the Jesuits in 1548); between 1567 and 1596 the Portuguese added gun turrets to the chapel and it became a fortress.

Porta De Santiago (A Famosa): The A’ Famosa fortress with 3-meter thick walls and a 40-meter watchtower had played a major role in protecting the Portuguese from their enemies. It was also the most well-known and symbolic fortress that the Portuguese had ever built.

The Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum: The Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum is located in Melaka, a World UNESCO Site. The house is a combination of three terrace lots that were acquired by the Chan family in 1861. Four generations lived in the house before it was opened as a museum.

Sri Poyyatha Vinayagar Moorthi Temple: Sri Poyatha Moorthi Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Malaysia and one of the oldest functioning Hindu temples in Maritime Southeast Asia. Located in the state of Malacca, the temple is one of the few existing Chitty temples in Malaysia.

Masjid Kampung Kling: Masjid Kampung Kling is Built in 1748 like many Malaccan mosques built around that period it displays strong Javanese and Oriental influences in its architecture. The mosque was reconstructed and renovated in replace the original wooden structure with one made of concrete

Cheng Hoon Teng Temple: The temple is dedicated to Kuan Yin, Goddess of Mercy. A black, gold and red-robed statue of the goddess stands in the central prayer hall. Cheng Hoon Teng temple was constructed by Chan Lak Koa, son-in-law to Captain Li, Malacca’s second Chinese kapitan.
