Our city starts and grows from the mountains, as a connection between the rich silver mines and the city's civic and religious centers. Miner's home start unwinding up and down, settling amongs the mountains cavities and meanders.

Stop At: Pachuca de Soto, Centro, Jardin independencia, Pachuca 42000 Mexico

We will hike from Pachuca's city center, entering the mountain's breaches to arrive to the ruins of San Buenaventura Hacienda

From the Sanbuenaventura Hacienda's ruins we will walk to San Miguel El Cerezo through the ancient path followed by the miners.

We will stop for a snack in San Miguel El Cerezo. Locally made bread (in Mexico we call it "Pan Dulce", sweet bread) and traditionally brewed coffee will be served for each participant at no cost. Hikers may choose to buy other drinks or food.

After El Cerezo, we will leave the towns and walk into the forest by the Jaramillo dam.
