Itinerary

In the morning, get picked up by our guide from your accommodation in Mexico City and head to Cholula. During a 2h picturesque drive, you will be able to enjoy the proud beauty of Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes and hear the story of those impressive mountains. Upon arrival to Cholula, we will take a walking tour to explore the town’s colonial streets, Baroque churches and impressive pyramid topped by the Virgen de Los Remedios church. Then, we will drive to nearby Puebla to take a walking tour around its UNESCO-listed historic center.

During the tour, we will see a number of lovely colonial buildings dating back to the 16th century with charming details and colorful tiles and will be surprised by glimpses of their elegant courtyards. Part of the experience includes discovering Puebla’s rich gastronomical culture and a possibility to try some of the region's most famous delicacies - mole poblano, chiles en nogada, rajas poblanas etc. Also, we will be able to visit Puebla's artisan crafts market where you can get unique regional souvenirs and sample traditional poblano candies from local shops. After a full day of discoveries, we will return to our vehicle where you can relax on the way back to your accommodation in Mexico City.
