Stop At: Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, Sian Ka'an Mexico

This excursion is going to be done in several stages. The difference is that we will not use the Jeep, we will practically do the whole trip through the natural reserve by boat, avoiding caravan and the dirt road.

The Mayans gave it the name of Sian ka'an "where the sky is born". The Biosphere Reserve was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. An incredible place where the turquoise blue of the sea and the intense green of the jungle mix. The fresh water of the river and the salt water of the sea. The Reserve is undoubtedly one of the treasures of the Riviera Maya.

We will pick you up at your hotel around 6:00 a.m to go to the base in Tulum. There we will make a small breakfast, we will explain the operation of the excursion and we will go to the nature reserve.

We will enter through the Arch of Sian Ka'an, accompanied by our guide, we will make about 10 km to reach a beautiful wharf in the lagoon of Campechen where the fishing boats await us with our expert native captains.

Yes now! The 'marine safari' begins on board our speedboats, discovering all types of flora and fauna. You can find 103 species of mammals and 336 birds, being a great refuge for birds such as airons, spatulas, herons and crocodiles in danger of extinction as well as jaguars, pumas, ocelots, tapirs and monkeys, among other species.

We will arrive at Punta allen fishing village and we will change the boat. Now we will go by sea for about 3 hours to go in search of sea turtles and dolphins in their natural habitat. On this tour we will visit the second largest coral reef in the world. Before finishing, the captains will take us to a paradisiacal natural pool to take a bath accompanied by drinks.

For lunch we will go to the exclusive Fisherman restaurant, where in addition to the buffet, from July to February we can enjoy freshly caught fresh lobsters.

After lunch we will take a walk through the town where people still live with few amenities and taking advantage of everything that the sea and the jungle gives them.

To finish our captains will accompany us again by the nature reserve with the speed boat to get closer to the dock of the Laguna de Campechen. We will go back to civilization. There our transport will be waiting for us.

Once in Tulum, we will end the tour and we will go back to your hotel.
