Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Lake Bacalar, Bacalar Mexico

We start with a tour near the coast where you can see on one side the extraordinary clarity of the waters of the lake and its different shades of blue, on the other the houses of different tastes and architectural designs of the lucky owners who live on the shore from the lagoon, this to reach our first point of the route.

The "Cenote de la Brujas" or "cenote negro", named for the belief that in this cenote different rituals were performed by the ancient sorcerers of the region, this cenote is stuck to the normal of Bacalar, only normal in all Mexico in having this characteristic, when entering it, it is possible to clearly differentiate the change of water going from 2 meters deep to approximately 90 meters in a very sharp half-moon line, to give a total return to cenote and continue again through the low waters of the lagoon.

The "Emerald Cenote", is the second of the 3 cenotes inside the lagoon, at this point we will approach a small sprout of water that emerges from the hard rock of a hill, we will also see the house of one of the men with more richness of Chetumal, the owner of the Moctezuma beer and the historic hotel "Laguna de Bacalar", among other beautiful houses, all in the middle of the beautiful emerald blue of this cenote that is 70 meters deep.

The "Cenote Cocalitos", well known because it is near the spa of the same name and where you can clearly see the famous stromatolites, which distinguish this lagoon from many in the country and in the world, since they are prehistoric way of life and that are only found in a few parts of the world, even people from NASA have come to study them.

The "Island of the birds" and on the other side of the lagoon, we will pass by two small islets, characteristic for hosting colonies of different colorful birds of the region, spatulas, gulls and frigate birds just to mention a few.

The "Canal del pirata" (the last point of the route), named for the fact that it served as access for the small pirate ships that had been stealing for more than four centuries what was Bacalar at the time, and what motivated the construction of the fort which is located in the front, a perfect place to swim, where the sand has exfoliating properties that many people use as a cream or facial mask.

Enjoy a tour (pontoon boat ride) with a lot of historical, cultural and extraordinary natural richness content, which impresses many who still do not know the beauties of the South of Quintana Roo.
