Everest Luxury Helicopter Trek is the sophisticated package which bestows memorial and luxurious experience of: ‘off the beaten path’ along with Helicopter flight. The Everest Luxury Trek offers abundant luxury to the Trekkers since their arrival till departure. The trekkers will be accommodated at Luxury Hotel 5 STAR hotel of Kathmandu and of the Everest Region during the entire Trek. Hygienic food; breakfast Lunch and Dinner, flight tickets from KTM-Lukla-KTM; helicopter airlift from Namche to EBC to Lukla are top highlight of the trip.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu(1,300m/4,265ft)

Pass By: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
After your safe landing at TIA, one of the representatives will warmly welcomes you outside the Terminal Hall. Then, the authorized personnel safely and comfortably transfer you to the respective hotel located in Thamel, tourist colorful market. After check in Hotel, your guide will meet you up and given all the further detail information about the trek. Evening, you can enjoy the city night life in Thamel; main tourist hub in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft) to Lukla (2,845m/9,333ft) to Phakding (2,610m/8,562ft)

Stop At: Lukla, Lukla, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
The trek embarks with 30-40 minutes scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu (TIA) to Lukla (Tenzing-Hillary airport); the gateway to the Himalayas. Lukla airport is the highest airport in Nepal and also one of the most dangerous airstrips in the world with just a single runway over a cliff.

The journey to the Himalayas begins after registering entrance card at Lukla Tourism Check point. The trail then formally commences entering through Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Memorial gate. As the trail drops down to Thalsaroa and Cheplung, the spectacular vista of surging Dudhkoshi river roar at the trekkers to accomplish the journey. From Cheplung, the trail crosses through suspension bridge over Thado Khola and offers the introductory mountain view of Mt Khumbila (5,761m) before reaching at Ghat. The trail continues to the first stop of the trek, Phakding, offering spectacular demonstration of the prayer wheels, mantras painted Mani stones and gompas. It takes about 1-2 hours of inclined walk to reach the small village Phakding. The village also has all the required amenities to satisfy the tourist. Hope you will have delicious cuisine and sound sleep in this small and beautiful village.

Notice: Due to the fluctuate climate in the Himalayas, Kathmandu-Lukla or Lukla-Kathmandu flight may get delayed for one or two hours or even a day or two. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Day 3: Phakding (2,610m/8,562ft) - Namche (3440 m/11,285ft):

Stop At: Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
After warm breakfast, our 2nd day trek commences from Phakding. The route to Namche is so enchanting though it is a long and tiring walk. The trail from Phakding leads to various Sherpa villages: Rimijung, Zamfute, Benkar and Chhamuwa which offers serene beauty in the Himalayan region. Register your Entrance card at Chhamuwa and climb through the magnificent forest of rhododendron, fir and Mongolia trees until you arrive at the boarder of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo village. Submit your Entrance card and National park entry card before you move ahead. From Monjo, the trial advances through Tenzing-Hillary suspension bridge over Dudh-Koshi river in Jhorsale village which is the confluence of Dudh-Koshi and Bhote-Koshi rivers. The trek concludes at Namche, the largest tourist hub in Everest region. Namche has all the modern amenities to spend the night at fully accommodated hotel. Though Namche serves international cuisine and beverages, trekkers must be careful and follow guide before anything wrong happens.

Day 4: Acclimatization and Exploration day:

Stop At: Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
The day at Namche will be the day for exploration and acclimatization. Health expertise suggests acclimation is necessary in Everest region trek to avoid Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). On this day, the guides arrange short trek from Namche to other Sherpa settlements in the Khumjung valley.

The short trip heads towards the Everest view hotel, one of the world’s highest hotels in the world for tea break and also for panoramic view of Mt. Khumbila (5,761m), Mt. Thamserku (6,623m), Mt. Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,516m) and Ama Dablam (6,812m). The trail then climbs uphill to Khumjung and Knude village with the physically fit trekkers. The trekkers with weak physical fitness can return to the lodge at Namche.

The main climax of the trip is to visit Khumjung Gompa and Khumjung Hillary school which was established by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1961. After inspecting Khumjung Gompa and school, drop down to another Sherpa village, Kunde which is renowned for ‘Hillary hospital’: the largest hospital of Khumjung region established in 1966.

The hike from Kunde to Namche lands at Syangboche airstrip on foot. The airstrip is a non-commercial airport and has unpaved narrow runway which is only used by helicopters to carry trekkers if they fall sick, injured or on special demand. Enjoy the breath-taking picturesque scenery of Namche village from the runway. The trail follows the zigzag gravel path to Zarok and finally to Namche. Get refreshed at Namche and save energy for the remaining trek.

Day 5: Morning Helicopter airlift to Everest Base Camp, return to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,265ft)

Stop At: Everest Base Camp Trail, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
Early in the morning after breakfast, airlift by Helicopter toward Everest Base Camp (5,364m17,600ft) showcasing closet view of Everest Himalayan Ranges, Khumbu Glacier , magical view of Mount Everest from Kala Pathar (5,545m/18,192ft). There is even 1 time land either Everest Base Camp or Kala Pathar which gives a lifetime memory. Return to Lukla and commercial flight to Kathmandu.
