Moeraki Boulders are a unique geological occurence which amaze the many thousands of tourists that visit every year.

Our tour gives our guests more flexibility than a larger group tour, and we frequently adapt to ensure that you get the best experience to suit your specific requirements.

Our guides have been living and touring the lower South Island our whole lives, and are very knowledgeable and eager to share their love for the Otago region.

Itinerary

Stop At: Warrington Beach, Dunedin 9471 New Zealand

We will briefly stop overlooking the beach to take photographs etc

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Karitane Beach, 5 Sulisker St Karitane 9471, Dunedin New Zealand

Brief stop for photos from the lookout, overlooking Karitane, Waikouaiti, and the Pacific Ocean

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Moeraki Boulders, on Koekohe Beach, Moeraki New Zealand

At Moeraki we walk down to the beach to get up close and amongst the boulders. There will also be plenty of time to stop at the cafe for a snack and a drink, as well as having a look through the gift shop.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Shag Point Nature Reserve, Hampden-Palmerston Road, Palmerston New Zealand

At Shag Point, we stop for photos and a short walk to see the numerous seals that frequently inhabit the area
