Stop At: Taqah Castle, Taqah, Salalah 211 Oman

Passing by the beautiful sandy beach of Taqah town, your guide will drive you inside this old fishing town of 'Taqah'. This beautiful coastal town which is famous for the manufacture of 'Dried Sardines', many agricultural crops and its traditional old Dhofari Mud Houses. Your stop will be at the century old 'Taqah Castle', the former official residence of the 'Wali' (Governor), which is currently used as museum with lots of exhibits & obtain a glimpse into the rich history of the city and locals' ancient lifestyle. You will have the chance to passby the nearby overlooking guard tower (old Fort) on hill next to the castle (see the photos attached).

Stop At: مزار سياحي منصة مشاهدة, Oman

This is a spectacular and stunning rocky cliff situated at the end of Taqah beach line. The cliff is around 15 meter height overlooking the Indian ocean and Taqah city. It is simply a breath-taking view point, where you will immediately feel the refreshing breeze of the ocean and have some mind relaxing moments and of course capture a memorable pics at this astonishing view point. Also, there is a high chance of spotting the aquatic mammals of Dolphins plying underneath the cliff in an amazing view.

Stop At: Wadi Darbat, Oman

Wadi (valley) Darbat is the most popular, beautiful and scenic nature spot in the region. It is among the top 2 places visited by tourists annually in Dhofar and a perfect place for a memorable day, especially, with your family. The valley is famous with its spring that has a natural subterranean water forming a beautiful lake. There are many seasonal entertaining water activities, especially after mansoon time, like, pedal kayaking, motor-boats and canoe boats. The place has a lush surroundings, many beautiful small seasonal cascades and a pleasant atmosphere where you can have awesome fresh relaxing time. Also, Many locals' Cattle can be often seen around, like, camels, caws and goats.

Stop At: حفرة اذابة اعتير, Unnamed Road, Oman، Oman

Your next visit is 20 minutes’ drive up from Darbat valley and through the Qara countryside to the natural sinkhole phenomena of Tawi Attair (place name). It is a karst feature that developed in the thick limestone of the Qara (mountain name) plateau. Your guide will take you to the view point platform, where you will be amazed by the birds' echoes of coos and Twitters flying around the hole. This place is just a natural wonder.

Stop At: Baobab Trees, 17°03'13.2"N 54°36'35., 8, Oman

Situated at the middle of Wadi (valley) Hinnah at Samhan mountain, you will stop to experience the unique giant Tabaldi Baobab Trees, also "scientifically known as dansonia digitata” and English common names include dead-rat tree. This tree has been a top listed destination for ecologists and nature-life lovers. This phenomenal tree locally known as Ankiji or Al Mashwa is located only in this valley. There are about 200 Baobab trees in Dhofar, which are 15 metres high with trunks that are nearly two metres in diameter. In places such as Africa, the number of such trees is almost double, because there they grow and multiply in large numbers.There are nine species of the Baobab in the world. Seven of them are in the island of Madagascar and one each in Oman, Yemen, and Australia.” (March, 2015, Times of Oman)

Stop At: Earth Gravity Controversial, Mirbat, Salalah 211 Oman

Your next stop is 15 minutes away down the hills of Samhan mountain to the controversial gravity point. A natural mysteries phenomena that leaves you astonished. A bleak stretch of road that go against gravity as you put your car in Neutral gear it will simply appear moving uphill, in a mind blowing scene. A real phenomena to experience yourself.

Stop At: Sumhuram Old City, 49 Sumhuram Street, Salalah 211 Oman

Your last stop will be a World Heritage site registered under UNISCO, where you will see the preserved remaining of the ancient Sumhuram city sit at the top of a small hill overlooking the Indian ocean. This city narrates a history that goes few centuries before Christ birth, as it worked as an important port for the unique Dhofari frankincense trade. The information centre of the site provides the visitors with a 06 minutes video clip briefing about the city ruins and gives a historical framing about the site.
