Caral and Bandurria are archaeological complexes that when discovered changed history as we knew it from ancient Peru and America, both archeological complexes having approximately 5000 years of contemporary antiquity to important cultures such as Egypt, Mesopotamia and China, still surprising many experts due to their great development
ITINERARY:
07:00 Hrs. Departure in private mobility from the hotel to the Sacred Citadel of Caral north of Lima (3 hours approximate trip).
10:00 a.m. approx. Our Tour will begin at the Archaeological Center of Caral.
1:00 p.m. approx. We go to the Plaza de Huacho for lunch and continue with the tour.
2:30 p.m. approx. We arrive in Bandurria where we will give a panoramic view of the archaeological remains and we can also visualize the famous Albúferas de El Paraíso from the viewpoint.
7:30 p.m. approx. We will be back in Lima (3 hours approximate trip).

Stop At: Zona Arqueologica caral, carretera panamericana norte Km 184, Caral Peru

Tour in the Archaeological Center of Caral. With an age greater than 5000 years and adjacent to cultures such as Mesopotamia and Egypt, it was used as an economic capital of a large region thanks to its agricultural work.
In short, Caral would be the cradle of the Andean civilization, since it has detected the oldest exponents of the main institutions of the pre-Hispanic era, such as reciprocity, the ceremonial calendar or the construction and renovation of temples, among the most relevant.

Stop At: Bandurria, Huacho 15136, Peru

Located exactly at kilometer 141 of the North Pan American Highway. The name of this archaeological site refers to the Bandurria bird, which inhabited these pampas and disappeared due to the human presence in the area.
The archaeological site has an age of 3500 to 1800 years before Christ and covers an area of approximately 23 hectares. It has two zones: A ceremonial public sector, composed of stone and mud pyramids (04 pyramids larger than 8 to 12 meters and 06 pyramids smaller than 2 to 5 meters high) located on the north side of the site, these monumental structures are built of boulders and mud, constructive technique never before registered for the Peruvian coast. Associated with the pyramids have been found sunken circular squares, highlighting "The Atrium", a ceremonial structure, consisting of a central body and 2 lateral arms as a lobby. And a large domestic sector on the south side of the site, where the remains of the houses, human burials, and remnants of the activities of the former inhabitants of Bandurria, who had access to various resources from the sea, the lagoon and the nearby hills.

The recent discovery of the archaeological site of Bandurria, shows that 5000 years ago, this wetland provided resources to its inhabitants and allowed the development in part of our civilization (3600 BC). It has a great diversity of 09 habitats (bodies of water, Totoral, Vega de Ciperáceas, silt beaches or puddles, Gramadal, Salicornial, Riparian Zone, Coastline and Arenal), in which numerous species of flora (33 species of plants develop ) and fauna (125 species of birds and 05 species of fish). Currently, due to the incredible diversity and number of bird species, it is visited by observers from various parts of the world. It is one of the few coastal ecosystems where we can observe the parihuana or flamingo (Phoenicopterus chilensis), emblematic bird of our national pavilion. The presence of the Peruvian Gaviotín (Sterna lorata) is also reported. The management of the reed and cattail by local artisan experts is part of the sustainable use strategies.
