Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: CUSCO - CHILCA - WAYLLABAMBA - LLACTAPATA 3.000m

Stop At: Inca Trail, Cusco 08000 Peru
We start at 5: 00h, pick up at your hotel by bus, breakfast in Ollantaytambo and then by bus until km 82. This is where we will prepare and distribute the necessary material, sleeping bags, canes, etc ... to start walking .
We will visit the archaeological site of Patallacta, lunch and continuation to Huayllabamba, where we will camp.
The difficulty on this day is easy and we can enjoy wonderful views and accompanied by the Vilcanota River

Day 2: Day 2: HUAYLLABAMBA - WARMIWAÑUSCA - PACAYMAYO 4,200m

Stop At: Inca Trail, Cusco 08000 Peru
In the early morning we start the hardest day of the trek, after breakfast we will begin the 7km ascent to the highest point of the Inca Trail, place called Warmiwañusca (Dead Woman's Pass) 4,200m, great place to take photos of the Cordillera de Vilcabamba, then the descent will begin, for about 3 km to the Pacaymayo camp, lunch and free afternoon for a well-deserved rest, if there is strength you can visit the waterfalls of the place.

Day 3: Day 3: RUNKURAKAY - SAYACMARCA - PUYUPATAMARCA (3,600m) - WIÑAYHUAYNA (2,600m)

Stop At: Inca Trail, Cusco 08000 Peru
We will wake up early, have breakfast and start the ascent for about 30 minutes to the archaeological complex of Runquracay and continue climbing up to 3,900m, Runqurakay pass where we can appreciate the high jungle of the Peruvian Amazon, descent to Sayacmarca, we will visit Chakiccocha, lunch, and continuation through the Peruvian high jungle towards Puyupatamarca.
From this point we descend 1,100m to our camp in Wiñayhuayna 2,600 m.

Day 4: Day 4: WIÑAYHUAYNA - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

Stop At: Inca Trail, Cusco 08000 Peru
This is the day that gets up early, at 3 am we will wake up with a warm matte and we will quickly get on our way, just 5 minutes from the checkpoint, from there go up for an hour and a half to Inti Punku (door of the sun), from where we can see for the first time the imposing City of Machu Picchu.
From there we will go down and make a nice visit with the guide to the city (about an hour and a half), then you can stay as long as you wish to continue enjoying the place.
We will take the bus to Aguas Calientes, where we will have lunch in a restaurant.
In the afternoon return on the Expedition train to Ollantaytambo where the transport that will take you back to Cusco and where our service ends will wait for you. (You can make a reservation to return on the Vistadome train, this has a supplement.)
