Machu Picchu is considered the lost city of the Incas, symbol of the Andean civilization, which shows the excellent work done by their ancestors, the Incas. Especially, this tour is one of the most special and demanded by the taste of tourists from around the world, highlights the unforgettable experience of using the roads and trails that formerly used the Inca culture, still maintains the naturalness of the blocks of rocks and stairs carved in stone, tunnels and wooden bridges, the harmony of nature in the crossing of springs and rivers, temperate valleys, the magic of the clouds in the treetops and the mixture of different climates and heights.

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Wayllabamba

Pass By: Wayllabamba Camp, 08680, Peru
Early in the morning I pick up from the hotel, we know each other with the group that will share the whole journey, we will board our private bus that will take us to Km 82 (3 ½ hours). Making a tour that crosses the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas. After about 2 hours we will pass the small town of Ollantaytambo where we will make a small stop to pick up the porters who will be those who share our journey. Later we will continue our journey taking a non-paved route parallel to the railway line, which will eventually take us to KM 82, from where we will start walking to meet nature and the lost city of the Machupicchu Incas. We will pass, we will know and we will learn about the agricultural techniques exposed in Llacta pata (archaeological complex), we will have lunch contemplating the wonderful view of the place, and afterwards of a moment of relax continue until our first camp passing through Wayllabamba until arriving at Yuncachimpa three stones (3260 masl) and spend the night in the stillness of the mountains.

• Lunch: Lunch on the first day of the start of the walk.

• Dinner: Dinner at the first camp of the tour, at the place of Wayllabamba or Yuncachimpa.

Day 2: Wayllabamba -Pacaymayo

Pass By: Pacaymayo Valley Campsite, Inca Trail, 08680, Peru
On this second day of the Inca Trail, we will get up very early, around 6:00 a.m. To be able to get ready and then have a good breakfast. Later we will begin to walk through a narrow path full of vegetation, passing a small bridge that will take us through a cloud forest, with a beauty without equal. In this section many steps are presented, so it is recommended to take it easy and rest whenever you consider it necessary. Later we will arrive at the LLulluchapampa sector, where we will make a brief stop to rest and prepare to ascend the highest point of our route, the famous Warmyhuañuska, located at 4200 meters high. These sections are about 2 kilometers long, and it is a bit steep, so it is recommended to walk calmly. This section is considered the most difficult, since it takes us to a height of 4200 meters, however, it is also one of the beautiful sea since once we have conquered its summit, we will be compensated by a beautiful view of the Andean snowcapped mountains. Then we will descend through a sinuous valley until we reach a point along the road, where we will stop for lunch. During this journey it is possible to observe types of birds. Finally we will arrive at the Pacaymayo camp (3600 m), where we will spend the night.

• Breakfast: Breakfast at the camp, ready to start one of the strongest days of the tour.
• Lunch: Lunch buffet at lunch.
• Dinner: The walk was hard and a good varied buffet style meal is the perfect complement to recharge your batteries.

Day 3: Pacaymayo - Wiñaywayna

Pass By: Winay Wayna, Machu Picchu Peru
This is one of the longest days, but at the same time one of the most beautiful, due to the presence of Inca constructions along the trail. This day we will get up at 6:00 AM, and after a succulent breakfast we will start our hike ascending a steep path, and shortly we will arrive at the ruins of Runkurakay, a beautiful Inca construction, in an oval shape, which is believed to have served as an Inca watchtower. After an explanation we will continue until we reach the Runkurakay pass, located at approximately 3900 meters above sea level. Descend to a beautiful valley full of vegetation in which we will visit the ruins of Sayacmarka, located at 3624 meters.

 This is an interesting Inca construction, built on a very steep slope, surrounded by a wonderful chain of mountains. After visiting Sayacmarka, we will continue descending towards the cloud forest, until we reach the ruins of Puyupatamarka, composed of impressive fountains and water channels, without a doubt a spectacular hydraulic engineering work done by the Incas, then we will continue descending until we reach a of the most beautiful Inca buildings of the place. It is the ruins of Wiñaywayna, After exploring every corner of Wiñaywayna, we will go to our last camp, which is located a few meters from the place. In this last camp, walkers will have access to better showers, hot water and baths. Here there is also a restaurant where you can buy drinks. This will be the night we will have to say goodbye to our porters or staff of the tour, therefore, at night there will be a small party to thank everyone for sharing this beautiful experience with the group.

• Breakfast: After a good rest a buffet breakfast is ready to start the walk.
• Lunch: Buffet lunch on the route. Dishes and varied food.
• Dinner: Buffet dinner in the last camp of the tour near the place called Wiñaywayna.

Day 4: Wiñaywayna - Machupicchu.

Pass By: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
On this last day, we will get up at 4:00 AM, to then have breakfast, and quickly present ourselves at the control gate to enter the path that will take us directly to the citadel of Machu Picchu. It is advisable to bring a good flashlight because at this time it is still dark. After having walked for about 1 hour and a half, we will arrive at Inti Punku, or Puerta del Sol, a magnificent point from which we can already see the citadel of Machu Picchu in the distance. Finally descend to one of the seventh wonders of the world "Machu Picchu" that rises to a height of 2430 meters above sea level, in the middle of a tropical forest, and with an extraordinary location. It was undoubtedly one of the most wonderful urban creations in the Inca boom era. Its enormous walls, terraces, and ramps seem to be naturally cut continuously in the rocky cliffs.

Our local guide will make a tour of the most important sectors of this beautiful Inca citadel for about 2 hours and then you will have free time to explore the city on your own. Around 1:00 AM, we will be taking a bus that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes, place where they will have lunch and then they will go to the station for their return to the city of Cusco.
