Itinerary

Learn about Andes' medical herbs and make ointments using ancestral techniques from the Amaru community, which is a community near Pisac, in the Sacred Valley.

- At pick up the driver will ask for you at the hotel's front desk and guide you to your private transportation.
- Once in the vehicle, you will head towards Amaru. On the way there you will enjoy the country landscapes and the magnificent snowy mountains.
- Upon arrival at the community, the locals will give you a cheerful welcome with flowers and singing songs in Quechua.
- You will take a small walk with women from the community to gather medicinal herbs that grow in Amaru.
- You will prepare herbal poultice by grinding the collected herbs on a traditional mortar and then mixing them with other ingredients.
- The locals will teach you ancient natural healing techniques.
- Once the experience finishes, you will return to your hotel.
