This wonderful full day excursion (shared services) takes you to the Sacred Valley with moray and salt maras near Cusco, where you explore the local culture in a handicraft market and visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo, which was once a very important Inca complex. A tour of this beautiful valley is the perfect way to learn more about the local culture and the Inca Empire while enjoying breathtaking scenery.

Stop At: Sacred Valley of the Incas, 0051 Peru

This day we will start with the pick-up from your hotel at approximately 6:40 am to go to the town of Chinchero, where we will find Inca walls and its colonial Church that awaits a lot of history, we will also have a small participation in the textile center.

Continuing our visit, we will go to the famous circular terraces of cultivation of Moray, this archaeological site was very important in the Inca period, and especially in agriculture.

After that we will descend towards the Salineras de Maras, picturesque place for its landscapes; here we will visit more than 3000 salt wells, this salt was used by the Incas for their consumption.

We will arrive to the city of Urubamba where we will enjoy our buffet lunch. We will continue our trip towards Ollantaytambo, known as the last living Inka city. cusco-valley-sacred-of-the-inkas Ollantaytambo reminds us of a mythical story of Love, a drama that makes love prevail before any obstacle, it is believed that this city was built by General Inka Ollantay in a moment of rebellion against the royal army of the Inka to prevent his union before the beautiful princess Cusi Qoyllor "beautiful star".

Once the visit to Ollantaytambo is finished we go to the picturesque town of Pisac located in the foothills of the Intihuatana hill (place where the sun is moored), we will enter the indigenous market of Pisaq which is the best place to do craft shopping and then culminate visiting the Archaeological Park picasa, Inca archaeological sites, finely assembled polished stone constructions

We will be back to Cusco at approximately 7:00 p.m.
