One day combination tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Salt Mine from Wroclaw

The Auschwitz- Birkenau museum takes us back to the times of the II World War and lets us see what the life in Nazi concentration camp was like. This visit is a history class that gives you a unique opportunity of finding out the darkest recesses of human nature.

The Salt Mine is a great chance to look into the depths of the Earth, combined with a hands-on experience of history of mining. Wieliczka Salt Mine (on the

UNESCO list) is the only mine that has been working constantly since the Middle Ages and its architecture illustrates all the stages of development in mining techniques in particular periods of history.

It is full day trip:

3h - way from Wrocław to Auschwitz,

2h - guided tour in Auschwitz,

1h - guided tour in Birkenau,

1,5h - way from Birkenau to Salt Mine,

3h - guided tour in Salt Mine, 

3h - way from Salt Mine to Wrocław.

Enjoy a private transport durging whole time of the trip. You are picking up directly from your hotel in Wrocław and go to Auschwitz-Birkenau museum in brand new, luxury Mercedes-Benz car.

When you arrive to the museum, you will have 15-20 minutes free time before tour started.

Entering the museum you will walk through security control like on the airport with metal detectors. Driver accompanies you until you meet the guide and helps you collect your audio devices (headphones and receiver) which gives you an opportunity of hearing everything what guide gonna say during the tour.

Sightseeing is provided in group of maximum 30 people and divided into two parts: first with Auschwitz-I camp and then 3,5km away Auschwitz-II Birkenau. Of course your chauffeur will be at your disposal all the time. Getting to know those German Nazi crimes takes around 3 hours (Auschwitz-I around 2h, Auschwitz-II Birkenau around 1h). After first part of the tour in Auschwitz-I you will have another 15-20 minutes break and then driver takes you from Auschwitz-I to Auschwitz-II Birkenau for second part of your visit.

Most of the grounds and buildings are accessible for visitors excluding only the blocks reserved for the Museum administration and its departments.

When you finish your visit of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps, your driver takes to the Salt Mine - around 1,5h way. After arrival to this unique place you will have 15-20 minutes free time before tour started.

Sightseeing is provided in group of maximum 40 people. Your first advanture is crossing around 400 stairs to reach first level of the mine which is 63 meters underground. Then you are beginning your tour through 3 of 7 levels of the mine which are open for the visitors. During your journey through tunnels of this historical and beautiful place, you will see huge caves, amazing chapel, hear small concert and have a light and sound show. Last stage of your tour is way to the surface from third level which is 137 meters underground. Don’t worry, you will use elevator to go up.

During whole time of your tour, driver waits for you on the parking in case anything happened and you need him.

When you finish your guided tour, driver takes you back to your hotel or any other place you want in Wrocław.
