THE BIGGEST AND GREENEST ZOO OF THE NORTH OF PORTUGAL.

 At 10 minutes from the center of Porto, more precisely in Vila Nova de Gaia, is located the Santo Inácio Zoo, the largest and greenest zoological park in the north of the country.

The active participation in the Conservation of Nature, especially of the Species that are Threatened of Extinction, constitutes the great and noble mission of Zoo Santo Inácio.

The Zoo Santo Inácio is home to around 600 animals of 200 species, more than 40 of which are part of the European Endangered Species Reproduction Program, involving more than 142 animals and having already favored the birth of 70 pups.

 WILD LIFE IN NATURAL HABITATS RECREATED

 All host species live in green and wide environments, designed to recreate the original habitats, providing them with the best conditions of comfort so that they can remain healthy and with genuine behaviors
